First ever real donation. I feel all growed up now. My bucks are on the end of that running total now.

I’ve actually seen every Red Nose Day. First time I ever saw The Big Yin was on Comic Relief.

I had the chance to do calls with RHL last time around. I feel like a dick for not having done it now.

Survived the football for once. I put this down to

• Not having a hangover for once in my life and
• Not running about like an idiot for a change.

Feeling pretty decent just now, albeit battered. I want to have a proper dinner and not just a malt loaf (the way to belly-reduction is not through malt loaf dinners, padawan), so will have to go get rolls.

Erm, so, yesterday: went into Ed, managed to get charger, photos, up to see Chris (not in) and 500GB hard disk (RAAA) and back on in an hour. What a result.

All stuff recovered from knackered disk. Knackered disk going in bin tonight.

My aim is for 100% tidyness by tomorrow. Bit late for hoovering now, but that’s about it. Aside from that, downloading EVERYTHING EVAR now.

So.

Going to try to lay off the sauce. I am far too young for this red-nose pish. With any luck this will go down for summer.

Party in Ed for Em on Saturday. Apparently she knows burlesque dancers. Looking forward to it, will be nice to actually get out with people for a change.

Finally started listening to all the DNA stuff I downloaded properly. Lovers End by the Birthday Massacre is a fucking incred song. So listening to that quite a bit.

Started to explore lithgae. Went for a fantastic walk tonight, bit of cardio for once. Saw ducks and rainbows and a glimpse of bunnies. Will need to get the ol’ Discman ready and make this regular. Who knows, might actually let me sleep.

Bit more regular on this I think. Gives me something to do besides flame strangers and watch Friends.

Setting your maximum bittorrent connections to wun zillion because your connection and computer are teh fats is all very well until you find that the latest BSG episode has eleven thousand seeds.

Mental note that this shouldn’t be configurable even under expert mode. Which, of course, every single person who has Azureus installed uses. Fucking prefs monkeys.

So, been in job for two weeks and LOVE IT HARD. I can see myself here in years, if I don’t fuck it up and nothing goes wrong. I very much hope that I don’t fuck it up and that nothing goes wrong.

Got the flat. If I can wangle Wednesday off then I get interweb on Wednesday, which means LE BATTLESTAR. I have a cash machine, spar and chinky literally on my doorstep and all of them rock.

Trains are fine. A tad steep, but not bank-busting.

Just over £200 overdrawn. This is okay. Should clear this, pay my bills and give ‘rents rent (ha) and still be about the same next month. This isn’t great, but it’s only two weeks’ pay.

Trying to diet by not eating anything. Unfortunately this is hard when weekends exist. Should ease up when I have interweb, thus eliminating my need to go pub. I hope.

Saw K last night. She cut her hair.

All in, life is pretty fucking awesome just now. Giving it until my bank balance really is healthily above zero before I do the driving thing, but it’s definitely being done this year.

Still to do:

• Get dentist (one right next to chinky, rawk) and doctor (must be one in high street);
• See about this flaky cheek skin thing before it turns into rabies or something;
• Get laptop (it’s still being sourced now apparently, and there is this horrible implication that they’re looking for a 3000);
• Kill Demon;
• Fix desktop so that I can use it just as a server and lock this fucking door;
• Driving lessons;
• Various Moz things - bugs, this bloody theme;
• bins;
• Finish diet a few stone lighter;
• Burd.

Woah. I actually have a checklist for completing my life. That’s decent.

So I’ve got an interview with Sun tomorrow at 1.40 in Linlithgow. And of course the agency sent it to my btopenworld address, which left me screaming about Hotmail losing it and going mental at everybody.

Karina phoned me. Accidentally, admittedly, but got her number now. I really should text her back.

We won the Millers pub quiz. Another one bites the dust. I think we won by about eight points in the end too. Jayjay stole the money (forty bucks!) but I’ll reclaim it from her hide at some point.

I had ace curry.

Not only did I not go out, I didn’t drink at all. Both of these were very good ideas. Not often I *avoid* doing things which would cause me physical and mental distress.

They’re replacing it with a 4000. This may be the best news I’ve ever had.

Andy thinks Veruca Salt are ace as well. No surprise. My fave discovery of ages.
