Reason #23423 to stop editing Wikipedia:

Psychopaths.

I’ve wasted an hour of my life following this up. Wikipedia really is a remarkably straightforward way of smearing people with whatever insane bullshit one comes up with in anger.

Said idiot is apparently going to phone this college on Monday. I would literally love to know what whoever’s answering the phones has to say to some random American who is accusing some guy they’ve never heard of of calling him gay on Wikipedia. I’d tape that shit and listen to it for days. Would make me feel less awful about the human race.

Other things I need to cut the fuck out of my life include Wikipedia. Why would I spend so much time on this nothingness. Dealing with dweebs in my spare time.

I am |- this close -| to just killing my watchlist entirely. Oh, that would be fun.

In other news, I need my passport number. Conveniently located, AS FUCKING ALWAYS, ON THE BIT OF PAPER I RIPPED UP AND THREW AWAY THIS MORNING. I seriously, seriously have to stop doing that. I’m giving myself mental problems.

Setting your maximum bittorrent connections to wun zillion because your connection and computer are teh fats is all very well until you find that the latest BSG episode has eleven thousand seeds.

Mental note that this shouldn’t be configurable even under expert mode. Which, of course, every single person who has Azureus installed uses. Fucking prefs monkeys.

Who knows why, but my old Vispa account got 283 junk messages today. Out of the blue. It worries me that Vispa probably turned off their server-side solutions for two minutes and this shit all got through, which means that mail truly is useless these days.

The Stylish extension is awesome. So useful. I’m using it on an almost sitely basis now, for everything. So much more suited to my level of hackery than Greasemonkey. np, get a fucking website.

Doom9 is a mess of frames, tables, iffy JS and half-rewrites which doesn’t validate, is annoying to navigate and doesn’t have RSS feeds.

So this annoys me.

So I rewrote the bulk of the site to word in wp - Voila.

Waiting for page content to filter through now. When I can be assed I’ll start adding old content. Even if it’s never adopted (and after a positive first contact it appears the site author isn’t much interested) I’ll have all that lovely content to play with locally in a nice database format.
